Suge Knight Responds To Ali “Zoe” Adam Claiming He Shot Him In Miami & Why His Crew Attacked Dr. Dre (video)

Suge Knight has responded to allegations made by Ali “Zoe” Adam, who claimed that Knight shot him in Miami, and provided insight into an incident involving Dr. Dre at the 2004 Vibe Awards. In a recent interview, Knight recounted the events that unfolded during the awards ceremony, where tensions escalated unexpectedly.

According to Knight, he was present at the Vibe Awards shortly after his release from prison when Dr. Dre was honored on stage. Knight described how the atmosphere shifted dramatically when a group of individuals reportedly attacked Dr. Dre, prompting security to intervene. “I just had Paro from prison and while he was speaking, he got socked about five or six times,” Knight stated. He recalled that as the melee unfolded, police arrived on the scene and seemed to focus their attention on him rather than the perpetrators of the attack.

The aftermath of the incident led to complications for Knight, who was already on parole at the time. He disclosed that his parole officer called him in to discuss changes to his conditions, which prevented him from interacting with anyone associated with Dr. Dre. Knight expressed frustration over being unfairly targeted, suggesting that the legal system often works against him. “It shows you the deck is always stacked,” he remarked.

Regarding the shooting incident in Miami, Knight denied any involvement and questioned the credibility of Adam’s claims. He stated, “I don’t know him, and I don’t know why he’s saying that.” Knight recounted being shot in the leg during an event at a club, emphasizing that he never saw who fired the shots. “Somebody fired a shot and I got hit in the leg… I turned around and everybody was running,” he explained.

Knight further elaborated on his experience following the shooting, revealing that he was handcuffed by police and taken to the hospital. He expressed disbelief over the reaction of those at the club, who he claimed showed no sympathy for him. “They wrote letters saying they were glad I got shot,” he noted, reflecting on the racial undertones of the situation.

In his closing remarks, Knight criticized the systemic issues he believes plague the entertainment industry and the legal system. He stated, “Only when it comes to me, only in America, that’s that.” As for Adam’s allegations, Knight indicated that he would address them directly when the opportunity arises.

This latest revelation from Suge Knight adds another layer to his complicated history in the music industry, as the former Death Row Records CEO continues to navigate personal and legal challenges. The events from the Vibe Awards and the Miami shooting reflect the ongoing tensions that have characterized Knight’s tumultuous career.
