A suspect has been identified in the recent shooting incident involving local artists Sauce Walka and Sayso P. The Memphis Police Department has issued a warrant for 21-year-old Jaden Danridge, charging him with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and multiple counts of employing a firearm during the commission of a felony, among other charges.

The shooting occurred on a Wednesday afternoon at approximately 2:42 p.m. at the West End Hotel, located at 170 Lieutenant George W. Lee Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Loran Hunt, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene, while 34-year-old Albert Mundane was transported to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition.

Authorities have reported that Danridge is also being investigated for auto theft, as it is believed that a stolen vehicle was used in connection with the shooting. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH or submit a tip anonymously via their website.

The investigation has garnered significant attention due to the high-profile nature of the individuals involved and the location of the incident. The West End area is known for its visibility, being close to prominent landmarks such as the FedEx Forum, where the Memphis Grizzlies play. The proximity of the shooting to such a well-trafficked area has raised concerns about public safety and the need for swift action from law enforcement.

In the aftermath of the incident, discussions have emerged regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Eyewitness accounts suggest that the shooters were identifiable, as one of them was reportedly wearing a distinctive red hoodie. This detail, along with the presence of surveillance cameras in the area, may play a crucial role in the investigation. Law enforcement officials are expected to leverage available technology to gather evidence and apprehend the suspects involved.

The shooting has sparked conversations about the ongoing issues of gun violence in urban areas and the implications for community safety. Local leaders and residents are calling for more proactive measures to address the root causes of such violence and to ensure that those responsible are held accountable.

As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward. The Memphis community remains on alert as the search for Jaden Danridge intensifies, with hopes that justice will be served swiftly.
