Nelly Apologizes To Eminem, Tech N9ne Says He Waited 10 Years To Work With Eminem On A Collab Song

In a recent interview with Bootleg Kev, rapper Nelly addressed his past misunderstandings with Eminem, offering a heartfelt apology. Reflecting on the initial miscommunications that led to their beef, Nelly expressed regret for misconstruing Eminem’s intentions regarding their musical endeavors. “I want to apologize to Em,” Nelly stated. “I misinterpreted something when I was really, really new.” He recounted a particular moment at an afterparty in Detroit when Eminem, accompanied by his daughter Hailie, approached him. “He’s such a dope cat… I felt like a dork because we were Eminem fans,” Nelly added, underscoring his admiration for the iconic rapper.

This revelation has sparked discussions among fans about the reconciliation between the two artists, who have both played significant roles in shaping the hip-hop landscape. Nelly’s acknowledgment of his past misinterpretation highlights the importance of communication in the music industry, especially between artists who have influenced each other.

In another segment of the music world, rapper Tech N9ne recently shared insights about his long-awaited collaboration with Eminem on the track “Speedum.” During an appearance on the Boss Talk podcast, Tech N9ne revealed that he had been eager to work with Eminem for a decade. “I’ve been wanting to work with this motherf**ker for 10 years,” he said, emphasizing the significance of the collaboration for him.

Tech N9ne described the creative process behind “Speedum,” detailing how he carefully crafted his verses. He chose to record his intro verse and final verse without hearing Chris Calico’s contributions beforehand to maintain his own creative flow. After submitting his 16 bars, he ended up delivering 38 bars, which indicates the passion and excitement he poured into the project. “I sent it to Em, five months went by, and that song came back. I guess he loved the beat,” Tech N9ne remarked.

The anticipation surrounding this collaboration reflects the enduring respect and admiration artists have for one another, particularly within the hip-hop community. As fans eagerly await the release of new music, both Nelly’s apology and Tech N9ne’s collaboration serve as reminders of the evolving relationships and connections forged in the industry.

As the dialogue continues around Nelly’s apology and Tech N9ne’s collaboration with Eminem, fans are encouraged to share their thoughts on these significant developments in hip-hop. The interactions and reconciliations among artists not only resonate within the community but also showcase the dynamic nature of music and the bonds that can be repaired over time.
