Pastor reveals what he’s most excited about for Trump (video)

The annual Road to Majority Conference, hosted by the Faith and Freedom Coalition, recently took place in Washington D.C., attracting a significant turnout of conservative leaders and activists. Among the keynote speakers was Senior Pastor Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Church in Dallas, who shared his enthusiasm for former President Donald Trump’s recent achievements and his vision for the future.

During his address, Pastor Jeffress emphasized the urgency with which Trump is approaching his goals, particularly in light of the understanding that his presidency is limited. “President Trump is not going to be president forever,” Jeffress remarked, noting that Trump is working quickly to address what he perceives as significant issues facing the nation. He underscored Trump’s commitment to ensuring the freedom of religion, which he described as the foundational freedom of all Americans, echoing sentiments from the nation’s founders.

Reflecting on the previous administration, Jeffress expressed concern over the Biden era, suggesting that the government was weaponized against conservative institutions, including churches. He articulated a desire for Trump to codify religious liberty into law, thus preventing future administrations from undermining this fundamental right.

The conference also featured discussions about voter demographics and electoral trends, with recent polling indicating that Trump has gained support across various groups, including women, non-college-educated voters, and young voters. Jeffress expressed confidence in these numbers, attributing Trump’s appeal to a collective frustration with the political left’s extreme positions. “The left had gone so far to the extremes that common sense people said, ‘I cannot put up with this anymore,’” he stated, reinforcing Trump’s image as a common-sense leader.

As the political landscape evolves, Jeffress highlighted the importance of building coalitions, particularly among Hispanic and Black voters. He noted the presence of many Hispanic members within his church, who he claims support Trump, and mentioned a growing enthusiasm among Black attendees at the conference. This sentiment aligns with broader assertions from political leaders like House Speaker Michael Johnson, who remarked on a “movement afoot” as diverse demographics join the Republican Party with optimism.

Pastor Jeffress concluded with a hopeful outlook, asserting that government’s role is to protect citizens and uphold their rights to worship freely, not to save the country. He believes Trump’s track record and continued commitment to his promises will resonate positively with voters in the upcoming elections, as he aims to fulfill what Jeffress sees as a divinely inspired purpose.

As the nation approaches the 2026 midterm elections, the excitement generated at the Road to Majority Conference signals a mobilization of conservative voters eager to rally behind a leader they believe is committed to preserving their values and freedoms.
