Hamas counts on international media to do its ‘dirty work’ for them, says Sen Tom Cotton

In a fiery exchange, Senator Tom Cotton has accused Hamas of manipulating international media to divert blame from its actions in Gaza, calling it a “dirty work” strategy. In a recent interview, Cotton condemned the portrayal of Israel as the aggressor amid the humanitarian crisis, asserting that the real culprits are the militant group Hamas and its control over resources. He highlighted the heartbreaking images of malnourished children in Gaza, insisting that Hamas has long weaponized food, prioritizing its fighters over civilians.

Cotton criticized the narrative pushed by major outlets, including the New York Times, which he claims misrepresents the situation by presenting misleading images and statistics. He argued that Israel has delivered substantial aid to Gaza, countering claims that it is intentionally starving the population. “Hamas wants to control the distribution of aid while continuing its attacks,” Cotton stated, emphasizing that Israel cannot be expected to support a group that has committed atrocities against it.

The senator also expressed outrage over what he sees as a growing anti-Semitic sentiment fueled by media narratives that echo Hamas propaganda. “The liberal media in America is filled with anti-Zionist rhetoric, and it’s increasingly dangerous,” he warned. Cotton’s comments come as tensions continue to rise in the region, with calls for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid becoming more urgent. He reaffirmed the need for the U.S. to support Israel, highlighting the importance of countering misinformation with facts.

As the conflict escalates, the stakes are higher than ever. The world watches closely as accusations fly and the humanitarian crisis deepens, leaving many to question the integrity of the narratives shaping public perception.
