Finesse 2Tymes Responds After His Mom Started a Go Fund Me After Receiving Eviction Notice (video)

Finesse 2Tymes’ mother, Plia, has publicly shared her distressing situation as she faces eviction and has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise $6,000 for housing costs. In a heartfelt video, she expressed her desperation, stating, “I’m not ashamed to say I need help. I’m tired of hiding the fact that I’ve been mistreated, lied on, and lied to for the last three years.” Plia emphasized her urgent need to secure $3,500 within three days to prevent eviction.

In her plea for assistance, Plia detailed how her circumstances have drastically changed. Her son, rapper Finesse 2Tymes, had previously supported her financially, but after a falling out, she is now left to manage her bills alone. She recounted her past stability in Memphis, where she had her own car and home, contrasting it with her current situation in Texas, where she lacks a support system.

Plia candidly discussed the emotional toll of her struggles, noting that she has been dealing with anxiety and depression exacerbated by what she describes as narcissistic abuse from her son. Additionally, she revealed that a previous scam involving Nigerian fraudsters has left her with a money laundering charge, which complicates her search for housing as she has already faced multiple rejections from potential landlords.

The funds raised through the GoFundMe campaign will be allocated towards moving costs, transportation, and deposits for a new residence. Plia’s message resonated with many, as she urged people to consider donating or sharing her story, stating, “Every bit counts. Thank you.”

Amidst the public outcry for help, the situation has drawn responses from both Finesse 2Tymes and his girlfriend, Sugar. Sugar defended her involvement in the family’s financial matters, claiming she has consistently supported Plia despite their troubled relationship. She expressed frustration over Plia’s portrayal of her support, stating, “I always looked out for her… I made sure you got a phone.”

Finesse 2Tymes, on the other hand, opted for a more restrained response. In a social media statement, he remarked, “On my kids, I never respond to nothing my mama got to say about me.” He maintained a level of respect for his mother while indicating that he would not engage in public disputes regarding their personal issues.

As the community rallies around Plia, the complexities of familial relationships and financial responsibility come to the forefront. While her GoFundMe campaign raises awareness of her plight, it also highlights the intricate dynamics at play within her family. With time running out to secure housing, Plia’s appeal serves as a poignant reminder of the challenges many face in securing stability and support during difficult times.
