Australian golf legend Greg Norman re-lists his beach home in Florida’s ritzy Jupiter Island for $60million 13 years after he first listed it for an even higher price at $65million
Greg Norman is re-listing his Florida beach compound after first trying to sell it 13 years ago, then demolishing and rebuilding it to try selling it again.
The Australian golf legend is asking for a staggering $59.9million for the home in Florida’s ritzy Jupiter Island community, though it was listed for $65million in 2008 before it was bulldozed.
Norman, 65, bought the home in 1991 for only $4.9million but has since expanded it by almost 6,800 square feet to nearly 32,000 square feet of living space.
The lot boasts seven houses, including: the main house, a coach house, a pool house, a tennis house, a boat house, a carriage house, a beach house and a 5,000 square foot basement.
The dual-waterfront compound, which stretches across the oceanfront and Intracoastal Waterway, includes 10 bedrooms with 12 full baths and 6 half baths.
‘Welcome to ‘Tranquility’,’ the Jills Zeder Group listing reads. ‘One of the original ocean-to-Intracoastal estates on Jupiter Island, the stunning full compound of buildings, situated on a sprawling 8.31-acre lot, was built for a barefoot elegance lifestyle.’
Norman, who won 20 PGA Tour tournaments and a total of 89 professional tournaments, was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2001.
Last year, Norman cut $10million from his 11,900-acre Colorado ranch listing, Realtor.com reported.
The Seven Lakes Ranch and its ‘luxurious lakeside lodge’ have been on the market since 2016, when it was listed for $55million, the outlet reported.
The listing, held by Brian Smith of Hall and Hall, remains for sale at $40million.
‘Regarded as one of the finest trophy big game hunting and fishing ranches in Colorado, Seven Lakes Ranch is a true sporting paradise,’ the listing reads.
‘The ranch is located in the coveted White River Valley of the Flat Tops Mountains, prized for its outdoor recreation, bucolic landscape and unspoiled beauty.’
The 13,907-square-foot main house on the property, constructed from logs, has eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
