Inside incredible $218 million Florida mansion – which sits on its own private island and boasts 11 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, four kitchens, two swimming pools, five-car garage, and tennis court
A sprawling Florida mansion that sits on its own private island can be yours for $218 million.
It comes complete with a whopping 11 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, as well as two swimming pools, a five-car garage, tennis court, hair salon, library, wine room, at-home gym, elevator, and indoor spa with its own massage room and sauna.
Located on Tarpon Island in Palm Beach, the sprawling, 21,400-square-foot abode sits on 2.2 acres of land and is surrounded by the intercoastal waterways.
Its current owners purchased the colonial-style home, which was first built in the 1930s, for $85 million in July 2021, but put it back on sale in November of that year for $125 million.
After struggling to find a buyer, they took it off the market and completely reconstruction it – before listing it again near the end of last year for $218 million.
Popular YouTuber Erik Conover, who often posts videos showcasing the most expensive homes in the world, recently shared a video tour of the incredible property to his channel and it quickly went viral, leaving many people on the web in awe.
The only way to get onto the island is via a private bridge, which leads to the spacious roundabout driveway and five-car garage.
Upon entering the exquisite mansion – through a huge mahogany door – there’s a stunning living area with colonial-style ceilings, multiple chandeliers, white oak flooring, and a gas fireplace.
The entire back wall of the living room is made of glass doors that open up to a covered porch area, which boasts numerous couches, an outdoor kitchen with a marble island, and another fireplace.
The room also connects to the lavish home’s dining area, which can seat up to 14 people.
Next to that is the ‘kitchen wing,’ which has two full kitchens – including a main one and an extra chef’s kitchen – as well as another small living area and a breakfast nook.
The main kitchen contains Italian marble counters, numerous draws and cabinets for optimal storage space, and top-notch appliances – including two ovens, a six-burner stove, a grill, an ice maker, and a pot filler.
The separate chef’s kitchen has another six-burner stove, dual ovens, a stainless steel island, and an induction wood oven.
The area also has a walk-in freezer, a ‘prep area’ with built-in shelves, and a temperature-controlled wine room.
Also on the first floor of the home is a powder room, a laundry room – which has three washers and three dryers, as well as a marble vanity to fold clothes on – numerous wet bars, two more living rooms, and an executive office.
‘It’s such an immaculate space that’s so grandiose, and it’s tastefully done, I have to say. The place is so big you can get lost in it,’ Erik said, while giving his followers a tour of the mega mansion.
One of the most glamorous rooms of the home is something he referred to as the ‘tennis pavilion,’ which is a circular, double-high ceiling sitting room with windows all around, boasting views of the house’s clay tennis court and offering tons of natural light.
Upstairs – you can take the elevator or opt to climb the double-width stairwell – there are three different wings, including the guests quarters, the master suite, and a third area with the rest of the bedrooms and a game room.
The guest quarters has two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and closet, of course, another full kitchen and a living room.
The breathtaking master suite sprawls across most of the top floor, and contains another laundry room, its very own wet bar, two walk-in closets, his and her bathrooms, multiple sitting rooms, and an enormous bedroom with vaulted ceilings.
It also has a private, covered balcony, and two smaller porches off of each bathroom.
‘This is bigger than my bedroom,’ Erik joked as he showed off one of the two walk-in closets.
Both of the bathrooms in the master suite are made from Italian book-matched marble and have steam showers, multiple vanities, and floating mirrors.
The bigger of the two, which Erik said is ‘one of the most expensive bathrooms in the entire world,’ also contains a soaking tub, a makeup station, and an automatic Toto toilet that has a temperature controlled seat and costs upwards of $10,000 alone.
The handles on the sink are made from crystal, while the shower offers six different showerheads.
The rest of the eight bedrooms in the home sit in the third and final wing. There’s also a game room in the area, which boasts a pool table, flat-screen TV, mini kitchen, and another terrace.
On top of the tennis courts – which Erik pointed out is one of only three courts in all of Palm Beach that have lighting built in so that you can play at night – there’s also two boat docks and two swimming pools outside.
The bigger of the two pools measures 98-feet long, and features hot and cold plunges.
The house is listed through Chris Leavitt of Douglas Elliman and Christian Angle of Christian Angle Realty.
