Jennifer Lopez has shared exactly what she does before she goes to bed at night.
The 55-year-old star and JLo Beauty founder – who filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August – told People magazine she has a certain routine she follows to unwind.
The Unstoppable star – whose beauty brand has launched a collection for Christmas – enjoys some ‘pampering’ and finds a balance by taking time for ‘quiet evenings’ at home.
‘Once the kids have gone to bed, I’m like, okay, my time. Put my face mask on. Watch The Great British Baking Show or whatever’s on,’ said the Atlas actress.
The Bronx-born beauty is still living with her teenaged twins Max and Emme in the $68M Bel Air, California mansion she used to share with Affleck but has been trying to sell for the past seven months.
The mogul added: ‘I don’t think there’s a busier time of the year than the holidays [but] even during a busy holiday season, I try to keep my routine consistent.
‘[That means] sticking to my skincare even when I’m tired, making time for working out so I can stay energized, and finding moments to relax and recharge, whether it’s through a little affirmation or a little mindful breathing meditation for a couple of minutes in the morning.’
She has included That Limitless Glow Face Masks in three of her six new holiday packs, with the Gift of Glow Kit also coming with two skincare brushes.
For the Head To Toe Glow Kit, anyone who subscribes will get her bling cup as a fun extra.
She admitted: ‘Everywhere I go with my bling cup, everybody’s always obsessed.
‘I just carried it around on set because it just reminded me to drink water all day and it’s become a thing — I never expected it to become a thing.’
The Jenny From the Block hitmaker previously revealed that her everyday skincare routine is in fact ‘very simple’.
She told Vogue.com’s series Vogue Beauty Secrets: ‘I’ve always had a very simple skin-care routine, and JLo Beauty was very much about that.
‘The truth is if you start young, it will make a huge difference.
‘Because you can put on all the makeup in the world, [but] if you’re unhappy, if your skin’s not healthy…you can’t cover it up.
‘Remember: I am magnificent, and my life is full of joy, laughter, adventure, and love. Success and prosperity too.’
Last week she revealed she is still in her former Affleck love nest.
When JLo posed outside a white house in a cute black-and-white Dior outfit on Sunday, she was standing at the front door of her $68million Bel Air, California mansion she used to live in with former husband Affleck.
The exterior was the same, which means she is still calling the white two story, 12 bedroom mansion her home even though it has been on sale for seven months.
Even if it has sold in recent days, it is interesting that she is still living there as couples usually like to quickly leave their doomed love nest after the call it quits.
The images also signal that the This Is Me… Now singer has not found a new dwelling to call her own, even though she has been looking with her real estate agent for months.
In the photo there were pumpkins outside and a sign that reads Pumpkin Patch: Pumpkins, Apples, Hayrides.
Jennifer – who was seen with her sister Lynda Lopez in NYC on Monday – and Ben have not been able to sell the mega-mansion, according to TMZ.
They purchased the marital home in 2023.
The divorcing couple bought the home for $60million, and made quite a few upgrades to the place.
According to its Zillow listing, the estate, dubbed Crestview Manor, boasts a 38,000 square foot house with 12 bedrooms and 24 baths.
The property has ‘a separate 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, caretaker house, and two-bedroom guardhouse.’
There’s also a ‘spacious 12-car garage and parking for 80 vehicles.’
The property includes a sports complex complete with ‘basketball and pickleball courts, a fully equipped gym, a boxing ring, a sports lounge, and a bar.’
Any looky-loos will have a hard time doing a drive-by of the estate as it is sits behind double gates and is ‘accessible only through private, gated streets.’
Lopez and Affleck listed it for sale in July with an asking price of $68 million, but so far there have been quite a few showings, but no takers, according to sources who spoke to TMZ.
Real Estate sources who consulted with the outlet offered a variety of explanations as to why the house could be slow to move, considering its celebrity connection.
Some suggested that there might not be that many clients in the market for a multi-million dollar mansion, especially one that is being flipped just a year after purchase.
Others suggested that the slow market, some of it attributed to the current mortgage rate for a 30 year fixed mortgage, might be too high a price to pay.
The market could heat up if fed chairman Jerome ‘Jay’ Powell lowers interest rates as next month as expected.
Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, the second anniversary of the former couple’s formal wedding ceremony.
She listed their day of separation as April 26 in her filing and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
People reported the Unstoppable actress had been scouting new properties since April, but hasn’t settled on anything yet.
She also finalized the sale of a condo in New York City on the day of the filing.
Affleck has already moved in to a $20 million, five bedroom house he purchased in July.
