ISA GT 45 M/Y Aria SF is the latest addition to the ISA Yachts shipyard in Ancona, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts.
At 45-metres, it features sharp and sporty exterior lines, marked by a plumb bow, with side arches connecting the three decks (a hallmark of the shipyard for over 20 years) and a fin-shaped hard top ascribing a light and slim look to the profile.
The naval architecture was developed by the Palumbo Superyachts technical team. The exterior design is by Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi, while the interior style is by Luca Dini Design & Architecture. Sea, light, and air are the main characters of any space on board, complemented by technical, functional, and minimal elements with a strong reference to cars, speed, and primary colors. The ISA GT 45 is a comfortable yacht with great outdoor livability and a disposition that facilitates the indoor/outdoor seamless connection, both visually and practically.
The floor is particularly noteworthy, where a soft carpet effect is achieved by mixing wooden strips treated with different processes. This effect is also reproduced on the doors, creating subtle optical illusions. The ceiling is made of white leather and mirrors, which intensifies the lively, welcoming sense of the interior and the endless marvel of our seas. On a bland and soothing color scheme, spots of blue and red provide a striking contrast to the ordinary and sometimes commercial interior design with a definitely automotive vibe, especially in the custom-made details by Tramontano in carbon, rosewood, and hide/stitched leather that is seen throughout the vessel.
M/Y Aria SF can host up to 10 individuals in 5 well-appointed cabins. There are 2 VIPs and 2 double cabins located below deck, which feature twin beds that can be converted into a double with a sliding mechanism. The owner’s suite is situated on the main deck forward and has an entrance/ lounge area with a sofa and TV. The full beam cabin located with a skylight includes a private terrace on the starboard side, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a shower. A unique feature is direct access to the outdoor lounge via a private staircase.
The bulkheads behind the beds are true artworks made of material-effect resin, customized for the boat with abstract references to all the themes dear to the owner: waves, sand, rocks, corals, wind, and speed. The same wall finishing, but achieved with personalized wallpaper, is in each bathroom and in the internal stairwell. The interiors are characterized by the use of very light oak, bleached teak, lacquered surfaces, carbon, steel, and glass in all its possible variations. To provide contrast and create brightness, dark metal details are the essential accents to enhance the underlying idea.
The selection of high-end furniture and fixtures creates an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, while the ample windows and open layout connect the different living spaces and effectively double the available space. The use of solar shading systems and invisible curtains allows for the enjoyment of natural light and breathtaking views while maintaining privacy and comfort.
The 10-seater round dining table is lacquered in gloss red, and its center is vertically aligned with a skylight. Its access from the aft upper deck is through a circular window that can be opened 180 degrees to enjoy contact with the outside area fully. Here, privacy is guaranteed by a system of sunshade grids with wooden and aluminum strips.
The crew consists of 7 people who are housed in 3 double cabins below deck, in addition to the captain’s cabin, which is located on the upper deck. The ISA GT 45 is made of a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and is equipped with 2 CAT C32 ACERT engines of 1300 hp each that can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and cruise at 14.5 knots. The 5-meter tender is stored in the lower deck garage with a starboard opening. The rescue boat is in the bow and, just like the two jet skis in the bow hangar, is handled by a hydraulic crane.
The ISA GT 45 M/Y Aria SF will make her global debut at the upcoming Cannes and Monaco boat shows in 2022.
