Trump BLASTS tariff ruling: This would ‘literal destroy’ America

In a stunning legal blow to President Trump, a federal appeals court has struck down most of his tariffs, a decision he claims could “literally destroy” the United States. This ruling, which upholds an earlier decision by the International Trade Court, was made by a 7-4 vote and will take effect on October 14, giving the Trump administration a narrow window to appeal to the Supreme Court.

The implications of this ruling are monumental. Trump took to Truth Social to express his outrage, stating, “Tariffs are the best tool to help our workers and support companies that produce great Made in America products.” As the administration scrambles to respond, it remains unclear how this will affect existing trade agreements with key partners like the European Union and Japan, where tariffs were mutually agreed upon.

Adding to the administration’s woes, a federal judge has temporarily blocked the swift deportation of undocumented immigrants, ruling that due process must be afforded to those facing removal. This decision has drawn sharp criticism from the Department of Homeland Security, which argues it undermines the President’s authority.

As the legal landscape shifts, the Trump administration faces mounting challenges on multiple fronts, with both rulings threatening to derail key aspects of his agenda. The urgency is palpable as the White House prepares to mount a defense against these setbacks, and the political fallout could be significant. With the clock ticking down to the appeals deadline, all eyes are on the Supreme Court as the Trump administration rallies to protect its trade policies and immigration strategies in an increasingly hostile legal environment.
