Not only does it have a minimalist but extremely progressive design and an interior filled with technology,  the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQS is also a completely electric car. The car has a 100 kWh battery pack with a capacity of up to 470 horsepower. In theory, Vision EQS can accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in less than 4.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of about 200 km/h. and operating range up to 700 km.

Luxurious style – progressive

The body of the Vision EQS has seductive flowing lines but is also very strong and assertive, with a unique lighting belt structure creating a seamless overall look from head to tail. The German car company described the Vision EQS with the phrase “sexy and surprisingly elegant”, which was confirmed when the car is currently one of the brightest stars in Frankfurt this year.

Interesting features on the outside of the Vision EQS include the Digital Light headlights, each with two holographic lens modules integrated into the lighting belt mentioned above, this allows for a number of lighting patterns near like unlimited. This will be how Mercedes applies lighting configurations to its future car models.

Similar to the front with a grille consisting of 188 LED lights (three-pointed star), the rear of the car is also very special with 229 individual three-pointed stars illuminated, creating a very impressive three-dimensional effect.

As for the interior, the Vision EQS’s cabin is inspired by the world of super luxury yachts, with the entire dashboard blending with the front cabin, the cockpit enveloping the driver and passengers. This is the design philosophy that Mercedes will use on its luxury sedans in the future.

In terms of materials, the concept car uses high-quality crystal white DINAMICA microfiber, along with many maple wood grain decorative details made from recycled PET plastic bottles. Mercedes has fitted the car with man-made leather upholstery, featuring finely textured surfaces similar to Nappa leather, while the roof is lined with a series of premium textiles created from recycled marine plastic.

Finally, in terms of technology, the car has Mercedes’ most advanced MBUX infotainment system, the cockpit is filled with touch screens displaying essential content for the driver and passengers. Vision EQS especially has a smart CONNECTED LIGHT system that helps the seats “shine”, air conditioning vents with unique mosaic decoration, luxurious rose gold speaker covers and many other modern features.

Impressive performance

The Mercedes  Vision EQS Concept is equipped with electric motors on both the front and rear axles, and an integrated battery pack under the vehicle floor, creating an electric all-wheel drive system with variable torque distribution, very flexible. active.

The vehicle’s capacity reaches 350 horsepower and maximum torque of 760Nm, allowing the electric car to sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in less than 4.5 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 200 km. /H. According to WLTP standards, the car can operate for a distance of 700km on a single charge, the Vision EQS’s 100 kWh battery pack can be charged up to 80% in just 20 minutes (with a 350 kWh charger).

In terms of driver assistance, Mercedes said the Vision EQS Concept has Level 3 self-driving technology, which will be quite beneficial for drivers when having to travel a lot on the highway. With a modular sensor system, the German brand is confident that the car’s level of self-driving can even expand to fully autonomous levels in the future.
