Sunreef Yachts Eco proudly announces the US premiere of the 80 Sunreef Power Eco Sól, an avant-garde electric luxury catamaran, at the upcoming 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). Renowned for its commitment to eco-responsible yachting, Sunreef Yachts introduces the world’s most advanced electric yacht, showcasing green technology.
Named after the Norse sun goddess, the 80 Sunreef Power Sól сommissioned by an experienced family of yacht owners, this exclusive solar yacht combines long private cruises with sustainable luxury charters.
Using Sunreef Yachts’ in-house developed green technology, the 80 Sunreef Power Eco Sól features composite-integrated solar panels, seamlessly built into the yacht’s hulls, bimini roof and superstructure.
The catamaran features custom-engineered battery banks. With a density less than 5.2 kg per kWh, Sunreef Yachts Eco batteries are close to 30% lighter than the average systems commonly used in the yachting world.
Sól has a four cabin layout and is able to accommodate eight guests in the relaxing interior, with plenty of natural light and bright finishing materials.
Sunreef Yachts was founded by Francis Lapp in 2002 in Gdansk, Poland. Since then, the shipyard has been designing and manufacturing luxury sailing and power multihulls.
