The ship also has a completely new propulsion system that, when combined with the slimmer hull, Mr. Waugh says will reduce energy use by 30%, thereby minimizing refueling frequency.
Crew areas and technical spaces can be located on the boat’s wings, side projections and submerged hull, creating a large open space for guests in the hull. main.
The estimated cost for superyacht Decadence has not yet been announced.
Andy Waugh Yacht Design said its other project, also for the tech billionaire, is a 100m-plus vessel currently in the engineering phase at Dorries Yachts in Bremen, Germany.
