Patrick Mahomes appreciates baseball excellence when he sees it.
After New York Yankees outfielders Juan Soto, Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton went back-to-back-to-back in the team’s game against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and Kansas City Royals minority owner expressed his amazement at the accomplishment.

The trio became the first Yankees players to go back-to-back since 2020. The feat occurred in the seventh inning.
It was Judge’s 51st home run of the year and his second of the game. It was Soto’s 37th home run and Stanton’s 23rd.
The Yankees earned a 10-3 win over the Rockies and improved to 76-54 on the season. They hold a 0.5-game lead over the Baltimore Orioles for the AL East lead and have the best overall record in MLB.
While Mahomes will be focused on the upcoming 2024 NFL season, his Royals could be poised to face New York in the postseason. Kansas City is currently 72-57 and in a Wild Card spot heading into the final month of the regular season.
