Three men were arrested for misdemeanor assault for their involvement in a brawl at State Farm Stadium during Sunday’s game between the Cardinals and Commanders that left one man bloodied.
In another ugly incident involving fans in the stands, the Arizona Department of Public Safety told TMZ the brawl started after two women had pushed one another.
A clip of the fight, which turned into a three-on-one attack between four men, circulated on social media and once again highlighted the bad behavior in the stands that has permeated NFL venues across the league the past few years.
Massive fight broke out yesterday at State Farm stadium in the upper deck. Cardinals fans were fighting each other.
It’s really sad how many fights happen at NFL games.

“One female fell down,” a spokesperson for the Arizona Department of Public Safety told the outlet. “A male friend ran after the suspect … brushing by other males before a fight ensued.”
The video seemed to pick up in the middle of the melee as a man in a backward hat and a Pat Tillman Cardinals jersey is seen throwing punches at a man in a red tank top.
That’s when a second fan wearing a David Johnson No. 31 jersey started throwing haymakers as the two men start fighting back against the man in the Tillman jersey while a third individual in a black shirt enters the fray.
Other fans eventually run into the frame to try to interdict in the fight to calm things down.
A second video showed authorities and security on the scene as two officers could be seen detaining one of the individuals.
The man who was seen taking the brunt of the punches could also be seen scurrying down the stairs and over the officers as he exited the section.
A third officer was also seen escorting another one of the combatants out of the section.
Authorities told TMZ that three men had been arrested for misdemeanor assault.
It’s the second vicious fight that occurred during this weekend’s NFL action after a video surfaced of a brawl at the Falcons game against the Chiefs where a fan could be stomping on the head of another fan during a fight in the 300s section.
