As a bee ambassador, Angelina Jolie organized a special lesson for students in Yucatan, Mexico about the precious bee Melipona.

The Hollywood star wears a simple white dress and enthusiastically teaches about the Melipona bee – a precious species of bee in the Americas that is non-venomous and endangered. The Maleficent star uses vivid visuals, dedicated to guiding the children. Children at a public school in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico excitedly participate and interact with Angelina Jolie.
In 2021, Angelina Jolie was chosen to be the face of Women for Bees, a program launched by UNESCO, which aims to train and support female beekeeping entrepreneurs around the world. She is also a Guerlain Bee Ambassador, participating in many bee conservation campaigns, including the Bee School program that teaches students about bees around the world. The actress has posted photos to France, Cambodia and Mexico to chat to improve knowledge and importance of bees.
Angelina Jolie is busy with many activities outside the field of film. In addition to her work in bee conservation and perfume advertising, the star recently established her own fashion brand named Atelier Jolie. Her brand focuses on recycling old clothes and surplus fabrics, made by skilled artisans and migrant tailors. In addition, Angelina continues to participate in humanitarian activities to help migrants and improve the rights of women and children.
