Business Barbie! Margot Robbie suits up in chic blazer and matching skirt at Past Lives premiere in NYC

Margot Robbie attended the premiere of Past Lives in New York City at Metrograph Theater.

The actress, 32, stunned in a taupe colored blazer and a matching maxi skirt, adding a black bralette beneath and coordinating heels.

The movie star wore her blonde hair center parted and in slight waves, opting to keep her makeup to a minimum.

Margot posed with Greta Lee at the after party, who plays Nora in the film.

Greta donned a sleeveless silver ruched gown for the premiere.

Past Lives is about a reunion between two childhood friends.

The movie is set to be released on June 2; the project was written and directed by Celine Song.

In addition to Greta, Teo Yoo, John Magaro, Choi Won-young and Jonica T. Gibbs star in the film.

Margot’s next project to be released is Barbie, which will drop on July 21 in theaters.

Barbie also stars alongside Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken.

Ariana Greenblatt, John Cena, Nicola Coughlan, Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey also star in the film, with Helen Mirren as the narrator.

Greta Gerwig wrote the film with Noah Baumbach; she also served as the director.

Last week, the second official trailer for Barbie was released.

The new clip revealed that Barbie went into the ‘real world’ in an effort to restore her former state of happiness.

The Mattel figurine, who was originally intended to be portrayed by Gal Gadot, then finds herself in trouble with the law and becomes the target of a hunt led by the CEO of a toy company (played by Will Ferrell.)

Barbie and Ken end up getting booked into jail during their adventure in the brief clip.

Storyline: In the latest clip, Margot Robbie ‘s Barbie is tasked with venturing into ‘the real world’ in an effort to restore her former state of happiness

Sudden halt: During the party, the doll expressed that ‘it is the best day ever! So is yesterday and so is tomorrow and every day from now until forever,’ although the dancing abruptly stops when she asked ‘do you guys ever think about dying?’

Development on Barbie began in the late 2000s, and figures such as Diablo Cody and Amy Schumer were attached to the project at various points.

Robbie signed on as the movie’s star in 2019, and Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach were attached as screenwriters that same year.

The former of the pair was formally named as the project’s director in July of 2021.

Physical production on the feature commenced in England last March, and reshoots took place as recently as last month.

Barbie is currently scheduled to be released on July 21.
