Tom Brady is facing some questions from long time teammate Rob Gronkowski after a lighthearted social media interaction over the weekend.
Former Patriots party without Brady
A group of Brady’s former pass-catchers from the Patriots gathered for some fun at the pool, and Julian Edelman sent a public invite to their old quarterback via Instagram alongside Gronkowski and Danny Amendola.
“Nice pool, fellas. But I think you’ve got enough shirtless dudes at your party,” the 7-time Super Bowl champion joked, publicly declining the invitation on his Instagram story while flashing his trademark smile.
Brady’s questionable walk
Gronk didn’t have an issue with Brady’s decision not to join them, but he clapped back with a comment about the 46-year-old’s uncharacteristic walking style in the shirtless video on the beach.
“I never seen you walk like that. When did that start???” the former tight end wrote on his story.
The Patriots reunion never materialized, but Brady’s provocative body language and Gronk’s response raised the question: was his response supposed to double as a thirst trap?
