Cardi B was cleared of criminal record after the incident of throwing a microphone into the audience

According to People, a statement from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said: “After a thorough review of Cardi B’s case and in consultation with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, this case has been closed due to not enough evidence. No charges will be filed in connection with this case.”

“This afternoon, we were informed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department of the results of their investigation, no charges will be filed against Cardi. On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the swift and diligent resolution of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on this matter,” said the female rapper’s lawyer.

Previously, during a performance held in Las Vegas, USA on July 29, a female audience member threw water on rapper Cardi B while she was performing on stage. Immediately, Cardi B threw the microphone at this female audience member.

Cardi B is a famous rapper in American showbiz. She was once rated by Forbes magazine (USA) as one of the most influential female rappers in the international music industry. In 2018, Time magazine (USA) included Cardi B in its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. In 2020, Billboard magazine (USA) honored Cardi B as Woman of the Year.
