Ahead of the his team’s big game day, Travis Kelce was caught heading to get some face time with Taylor Swift. Rumours are swirling that she may attend the game.
Travis Kelce is visiting New York City this weekend and it’s supposed to be for work rather than pleasure. Apparently, he hasn’t quite got his head in the game and, instead, is cozying up with Taylor Swift.
Splash News spotted Travis sneaking into Taylor’s Manhattan apartment for a few minutes Saturday night. After some time together, his private Range Rover came to pick him up and safely return him to his Jersey City hotel where he is staying with his teammates. Sunday, Travis’ team, the Chiefs, will be taking on the New York Jetts and Taylor is rumored to be in attendance.
Travis was pictured upon his return to the hotel where we wore an outfit with a message. His all-black look featured two little clues as to where his mind is at right now. His t-shirt read: “I’m not doing this sh*t today.”
Plus, he added a black baseball cap with white lettering that said “New York New York”. Of course, this could just be a tourist-like reference to the city he’s visiting, but it may also be a reference to Taylor’s song Welcome to New York which was rerecorded for 1989 (Taylor’s Version). The album is set to drop next month.
The football player, known for being a bit more fashion-forward than his peers, finished the look with striped trousers and a pair of green trainers. Taylor, on the other hand, got dolled up for the night.
After Travis left, she went out to dinner at Emilio’s Ballato with Blake Lively and Sophie Turner. The pop star wore a black dress, cinched at the waist by a black belt with a gold buckle. Taylor carried a black bag on her shoulder and accessorized with gold necklaces. She finished off the look with her hair pulled up and her signature classic red lip.
Her appearance with Sophie Turner is just one of many this past week as Sophie reportedly is staying in Taylor’s spare New York penthouse. The actress is going through a tough custody and divorce battle with her estranged husband Joe Jonas and Taylor reportedly has been comforting her.
