The reported deal is worth $100 million, making it one of the most expensive shows on the streaming platform. In this collaboration, Amazon aims to leverage MrBeast’s massive YouTube following of $233 million subscribers, while the YouTuber gains the financial support to produce high-end content for his videos.
Jimmy Donaldson, widely known by his online alias MrBeast, is currently the second-most-subscribed channel on YouTube behind T-Series. The YouTuber has conducted grand game shows with grand prize money for fellow influencers and content creators. Amazon may emulate this content format for its $100 million show.

According to the latest issue of Puck’s newsletter What I’m Hearing, YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, is finalizing a deal with Amazon Prime Video for a TV show. The reported deal is said to be worth nearly $100 million. While specific details about the show or its format are currently unavailable, it is expected to closely follow the content style of the MrBeast YouTube channel.
The newsletter further revealed that the first episode of the show will premiere on Donaldson’s YouTube channel before being made available on Prime Video. Considering his track record of hosting game shows with participation from several hundred people, the Amazon show may also be a game show hosted by him.
Interestingly, Donaldson jokingly requested Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to give him a billion dollars for fun. He later followed up with another tweet, stating that Bezos had just started following him. It appears that while Bezos didn’t offer him a billion, his company has offered him money and a platform to make fun content.
