Roman Reigns continues to assert his dominance over WWE after reaching 1,300 days as the WWE Universal Champion.
The Bloodline’s leader captured the title at WWE Payback in August of 2020. At WrestleMania 38, he unified the title with the WWE Championship.
Over the course of his over 3 year long reign as champion, Reigns has knocked off some of the top talent WWE has to offer, successfully retaining his championship against the likes of Brock Lesnar, Finn Balor, Edge, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre and more. Reigns added the WWE Championship to his reign at WrestleMania 38, unifying the two world championships into what is now known as the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
Reigns’ next title defense will come at WrestleMania 40 (Night Two) where he will put the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line against Cody Rhodes.
Rhodes and Reigns will also be part of the previous day’s event, where they will team with Seth Rollins & The Rock respectively in tag-team action.
