Max Verstappen and Penelope is a well-known duo among F1 fans.
Max Verstappen – Penelope content, is incoming!! The 2024 Australian Grand Prix did not prove to be the most rewarding for the reigning world champion as he came away with a DNF. However, there was no shortage of wholesome content with Kelly Piquet‘s daughter, Penelope in the Red Bull garage.
Penelope is well-known among Max Verstappen fans for his regular appearances on the latter’s sim racing sessions. Since 2023, the duo has come up with several heartwarming moments for the fans.
The most recent video of the two that has been making immense noise has come, surprisingly, from the Red Bull garage at the Australian GP. Penelope was present at the event and was spotted roaming in Verstappen’s garage.
Moreover, as evident from the video, she even gave a cute hug to the 26-year-old. The video has made immense noise on the web and the fans have been gushing over the cuteness that the three-second clip has oozed.
Max Verstappen utterly ‘disappointed’ with RB20’s issue at Albert Park
While Max Verstappen and Penelope have taken over the web with their most recent content, the former retired from the Australian GP on lap four. A brake-related issue knocked Verstappen out of the 58-lap Albert Park event!
With his retirement, he lost out on winning his third consecutive race of the 2024 F1 season
Of course, I am disappointed we didn’t finish the race as we had a good shot at winning and the car has been improving throughout the weekend.
Red Bulls’ Australian GP outing was not in the script for the Austrian team, its rivals, and also the fans of the sport. Verstappen before the recent race, last retired from a Grand Prix in 2022 and thus, most people were expecting him to win at the event!
The fans were so shocked to see Verstappen struggling that some of them were even spotted cheering, as he trundled his way into the pits. Red Bull’s other driver, Sergio Perez, helped the team by bringing in some points with a fifth-place finish. The upcoming Japanese GP weekend will kick off from the fifth of April onwards.
