Here’s What Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello Are Getting In Their Divorce

While Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello filed for divorce in July 2023 after seven years of marriage, details surrounding their prenuptial agreement have just been released by Page Six. Meaning: we now know what they’ve walked away with since the divorce was finalized. Per court documents obtained by the publication, a judge signed off on their divorce agreement on Thursday, April 4.

According to the former couple’s prenup, Joe walked away with his clothing, jewelry, “miscellaneous personal effects,” and his “earnings and accumulations” since their date of separation on July 2, 2023. On the flip side, Sofía left with “all of her personal effects, including jewelry and clothing, as well as her earnings since they separated last summer.”

The report also reveals that they didn’t have “any community property” between them and they acknowledged the validity of their prenup.

In July 2023, Sofía and Joe released a statement via Page Six to announce their separation. “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,” they wrote.

The Griselda actor also gave insight to why things ended in an interview with El País in January 2024. “Well, I’m newly divorced from my second husband, who I was with for 10 years. My marriage broke up because my husband was younger. He wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom,” she admitted. “I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore. I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother.”
