Wrestling veteran comments on whether Roman Reigns should return to WWE as a heel or babyface

Legendary wrestling manager Jim Cornette has shared his thoughts on whether Roman Reigns should return to WWE as a heel or babyface. The latter was last seen at WrestleMania XL, where his 1,316-day title reign came to an end.

Roman Reigns could return to WWE soon

During his absence, his cousin Solo Sikoa took control of The Bloodline and added several new members after kicking out Jimmy Uso. The fans have refused to accept the new version of the group, as they’ve been calling for the return of The Head of the Table, even though he was the biggest heel in the industry. The WWE Universe is ready for him to have a babyface run.

Roman Reigns should return to WWE as a heel or babyface

Speaking on the latest edition of the Jim Cornette Experience, the wrestling veteran stated that Roman Reigns should turn babyface when he returns to WWE due to the current state of The Bloodline and the reaction from fans.

“They wanted Roman’s reign to come to an end and it did. But now other people have replaced him in terms of the people that the fans have heat with and they’re wanting to see Roman come back and straighten it out. He needs to come back and at least attempt to in good face straighten it out and then a year down the road after that but then by that point he’s making movies or whatever he’s doing anyway. But he needs to come back and be a babyface if they’re gonna do this,” said Cornette.

Roman Reigns’ Special Counsel Paul Heyman was destroyed on WWE SmackDown

After Solo Sikoa took control of The Bloodline and kicked out his brother Jimmy Uso, he kept Paul Heyman as his Wiseman. Heyman has been loyal to Roman Reigns and was reluctant to accept Solo as the new leader of the faction. After Sikoa brought in Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, Paul Heyman became even more overwhelmed.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?! We’re speechless…

However, when Jacob Fatu joined The Bloodline, things escalated even quicker. On SmackDown last Friday, the Samoan Werewolf nailed Heyman with a flying headbutt and sent him crashing into the announce table after he refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his new Tribal Chief.

It’ll be interesting to see how Roman Reigns reacts to all of this when he makes his much-anticipated return.
