The new version of The Bloodline has taken things too far. However, the attack on Paul Heyman was seemingly only the beginning, despite many WWE fans believing that this crossed the line.
Last night on SmackDown, Solo Sikoa drew the battle lines with Roman Reigns, making it clear that The Big Dog couldn’t carry the family’s legacy at WrestleMania XL, and that’s why the former Enforcer has now become the new Tribal Chief.
“If Roman Reigns wants that back, he can try and take it from me. It’s a new era for #TheBloodline. Acknowledge your NEW Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa.” #SmackDown
Solo Sikoa also claimed that he would go on to win the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes, and if Reigns wanted the title back, he would have to take it back from his former Enforcer.
Reigns has been absent since his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, and in that time, Solo has completely transformed The Bloodline by removing Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman and adding the trio of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.
At present, there are only three faces up against the heel faction, and it’s unlikely they will stand a chance in the six-man tag team match later today. Hence, it’s high time Roman Reigns made a return at MITB 2024 to confront The Bloodline 2.0.
Roman Reigns to return at WWE Money in the Bank?
Roman Reigns was expected to return at SummerSlam, but given the fact that The Bloodline has a numerical advantage in the six-man tag team match this Saturday, the babyface trio of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens need to have a plan B.
It’s clear now that Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns are not on the same side, and the latter’s return would lead to a Civil War. Sikoa sent a clear message to Reigns last night on WWE SmackDown, a message that The Big Dog needs to respond to. Reigns was The Tribal Chief for four years, and it would be hard to digest if he did not respond to Solo’s outburst from last night.
Roman Reigns would already be angry about the way Paul Heyman was treated last week, and seeing Sikoa publicly call him out could lead to him making a shocking return at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. Reigns could cost Solo and Co. the six-man tag team match, which could eventually lead to a singles match between the duo at WWE SummerSlam.
