Last season, NFL fans loved Travis Kelce’s hairstyle so much that people were asking their barbers to replicate it. As of right now, we don’t expect that to happen this fall.
On Tuesday night, Kelce made an appearance at the Kansas City Sports Awards. The All-Pro pulled up to the event in an all-black outfit.
Kelce’s outfit was ultimately overshadowed by his hairstyle. The future Hall of Famer is currently rocking a slicked-back hairdo that doesn’t exactly highlight his best features.
Fans of Kelce made it known on social media that they are not fond of his slicked-back hair. Some are even begging him to go back to last year’s hairstyle.
“Travis please just cut it,” one fan tweeted.
“He looks like an Italian mob boss,” another fan said.
“Close enough…welcome back Ted Lasso,” a third fan joked.

For what it’s worth, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently hinted that Taylor Swift is responsible for Kelce’s new hairstyle.
“I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out and all of a sudden Taylor gets him to do it,” Mahomes said, via Billboard.
Kelce has definitely pulled off a plethora of hairstyles in the past. We’re not so sure he’s rocking this one, though.
With Week 1 of the NFL season just eight days away, we’ll see if Kelce decides to keep his haircut as is or go with a cleaner look.
