Netflix ‘Targeting’ Kay Adams For NFL Christmas Games

Kay Adams might be very busy this holiday season.

Netflix spent about $150 million for the rights to exclusively stream the Chiefs-Steelers and Ravens-Texans games on Christmas Day. While the jury is still out on whether or not that was a good move, what isn’t up for debate is that Netflix must find broadcasters to cover the games.

It was reported this week that Netflix wanted Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady to call one of the games on Christmas Day. Unsurprisingly, FOX said no.

Netflix has not yet found its announcers for its Christmas Day doubleheader. The New York Post recently reported that Ian and Noah Eagle could receive offers to be the play-by-play announcers. Greg Olsen and Nate Burleson are at the top of Netflix’s wish list for color commentators.

As for Netflix’s studio show, it appears Kay Adams is the No. 1 target.

“Netflix is targeting Adams to be the studio anchor of its NFL Christmas doubleheader,” Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post wrote.

Adams, the host of FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams,” has been quite popular for the past few years. She got her huge break on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football.”

It’s unclear if Adams will accept an offer from Netflix. NFL fans would probably love to see her working on Christmas Day, especially since she brings a ton of energy to any set.

In the event Adams doesn’t want to be part of Netflix’s NFL coverage, it’ll be interesting to see who the backup option would be.
