Plus, Kelce and Taylor Swift’s plans for the season opener with the Ravens
THE Kansas City Chiefs leaders Patrick Mahomes and Travis Mahomes enter the season with their eyes set on the big prize.
The two NFL stars want to complete the historic Super Bowl three-peat so badly that they promised their teammates to take them on a Caribbean vacation if they win the title, The U.S. Sun understands.
Mahomes, 28, and Kelce, 34, have been trying hard to bring extra motivation to the locker room ahead of Thursday’s season kick-off.
The efforts saw them making a surprising announcement in a recent team meeting they led, a well-informed Chiefs insider said.
The Kansas City star duo revealed they would take the squad on a luxury three-day vacation in the Bahamas as a thank-you for a successful championship run.
“Both Travis and Patrick announced it at the end of the meeting,” the source said.
“And everyone cheered like crazy!”
The Chiefs were already thrilled about the 2024 NFL season, said the insider.
But the show of leadership from Mahomes and Kelce boosted the morale even further.
“They loved the move,” the source said.
“Everyone cheered and greeted, got excited all together as one, and showed one more time that the unity and chemistry on this team is hyper strong, unique.”
The gesture came after Kelce arrived at training camp with over $130,000 in gifts for his teammates.

Those included fine Italian wines and designer bags with the NFL tight end wanting to bring a taste of the country he “fell in love with” to the locker room, a source told The U.S. Sun in July.
Kelce went on a romantic getaway in Lake Como with his popstar girlfriend Taylor Swift, 34, earlier this year.
The two now reportedly plan to make a love nest there after being blown away by the Italian region during their voyages.
Meanwhile, Kelce recently said he won’t start the season on a limited snap count — even if the Chiefs insist.
“No, and I probably wouldn’t have listened to them anyway,” he said, per The Athletic.
“I’m ready to rock. I’ve never been more excited, honestly.”
The Chiefs open the season with a clash against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, September 5.
Swift is scheduled to attend the game at Arrowhead Stadium, The U.S. Sun understands.
“She wouldn’t miss it for anything in the world,” a source close to the singer’s entourage said.
Swift’s and Kelce’s families are also expected to be in the stands.
